A product of Gihren Zabi's quest for the ultimate war-winning super weapon, the Dolos class was the largest dedicated mobile suit carrier ever built. With the capacity to carry an unprecedented 182 mobile suits, the Dolos would carry almost an entire corps within its vast hull. However, like many of Gihren's super weapons, the Dolos had flaws, the most principle of which was the lack of adequate launching facilities for its massive MS compliment. With only 7 catapults, deploying the entire mobile suit compliment could take more than twenty minutes. Two of these massive ships were built, and both were destroyed by the Federation Forces at the battle of A Baoa Qu.
