Technical and Historical Notes

The final evolution of the MS-16X [Bishop] plan was the MSN-02 Perfect Zeong. Based on the data obtained from the MSN-01 High Mobility Psycommu System Zaku units, Zeon researchers constructed the Perfect Zeong. Due to the size and power required for the output of the Perfect Zeong, it's powerplant was 3.8 times greater then the standard mobile suit. The rockets that were used without the legs on the MSN-02 Zeong were mounted on the legs themselves in the completed version. Overall 3 Zeong units would be produced, and one such unit was only 80% completed and piloted by ace Newtype pilot Char Aznable. That unit was destroyed by Amuro Ray's RX-78-2 Gundam at the Battle of A Baoa Qu.
