Technical and Historical Notes

The New United Nations Earth's NRX-0013 Gundam Virsago is presumably the first Gundam type suit built after the devastating 7th Space War. The Gundam Virsago's main armament is its extremely powerful mega sonic cannon, giving this MS a destructive firepower second only to the GX-9900 Gundam X - and not requiring the use of a Newtype pilot or a flash system/satellite system. Other armaments include a pair of arm-mounted strike claws and claw beam cannons. Piloted by telepathic Newtype-wannabe Shagia Frost, this rather spooky-looking Gundam's visage fits his dark and conniving personality, and the Virsago is often referred to as the "Ghost Gundam." During the military and political chaos of A.W. 0015, Shagia and his brother Olga prove to be constant threats to the Vulture ship Freeden and its trio of Gundam pilots. The Virsago is later upgraded to the more powerful NRX-0013-CB Gundam Virsago Chestbreak.
